(C) 2009 - Voice of the Ozarks Organization
The Voice of the Ozarks is an organization which is designed to protect
the rights of the people to access, to use, and to be involved in the
management of public lands.  This organization seeks to protect the
people's rights to make a living from public lands and to protect the rights
to use our beautiful resources.  The organization recognized in October of
2007 when we were founded there was a need for the local people of
South Central Missouri and those who agree with our points of view to
have an organized movement to provide a voice to public agencies and
elected officials about how we think our public lands should be managed.

Your membership in our organization is very helpful in three main ways.
The first is your support for the movement to protect your rights.  It is not
only important for us to become organized, it is also important for each of
the members to take action to protect your rights by contacting your
elected officials.  The second reason is communication, by organizing this
we increase communication between those who want stick together to
protect our rights.  Last, but not least--Money.  This organization can
certainly use the money your membership would provide with us.  Some
of the funds have been used for this website, for public mailings, for
printing of materials such as comment cards, for the purpose of public
meetings, and other worthwhile activities.

To understand the membership dues, just remember this:  in your
household, the first person to join just costs $20.00, each person
thereafter is only $10.00 per individual.  Please consider joining our group
and let's stay focused on the task at hand.
